Glamour/Boudoir Photography

What is it?
Glamour and Boudoir Photography is about transformation. For one (lasting) moment in time you look like those beautiful women that you see in magazines and movies. It is created exclusively for you.

Is it revealing?
Only if you want it to be. The technique used for Glamour and Boudoir Photography is essentially the same. However, the finished works are very different. Glamour portraits feature head shots similar to publicity shots or cosmetic advertising. Boudoir Photography is as revealing as you want it to be. It features sensual shots of you in your favorite lingerie (or not) and uses more provocative poses.

Who will see it?
The only people who see your photos are Pete and anyone you decide to show them to. A lot of women give them as gifts to their partners, some just keep them for themselves, to know that for that one moment, they could look like that.

What do I have to bring with me?
We suggest that you do a little research. Look through magazines, catalogues etc. and find the kind of shots that you like. If you are doing Boudoir Photography, think about the kind of poses/body parts your partner likes about you. Then, on the day of the session, bring some favorite music (we have some too), any lingerie that you will be wearing and the research you've done. The rest is easy, and it gets easier as the session goes on!

Do I need to do special make-up?
You may, if you like. However, talk with Pete first. Make-up for camera is very different than everyday make-up. If you prefer, we can do the make-up for you, with specialized techniques that we've developed over the years.

How long does it take?
Plan to spend at least an hour for your session. Naturally, the more pictures that you need (if you decide to do a calendar or album, the more time is necessary. Most sessions can be done in about two hours.

How much does it cost?
The creation fee is $75 per hour. Prints range from as little as $10 each to $250. Most women spend (on average) $350.
